The Amana Breakfast Ride has been a favorite BIC tradition for many, many years. Join us for this annual event with old friends. We have two starting points. All groups meet at the Ronneburg Restaurant about 9 or so for an all-you-can-eat German breakfast.
3 Ride Options:
52 miles Road
Meet at Waterworks Park on Dubuque St, at 7:00 and bike to meet the other riders who are starting at Herky St in North Liberty. Ride the backroads from North Liberty to Hwy 6. Then take the wide shoulder into Amana. Retrace home.
34 miles Road
Meet at Herky st at 8:00 am, Ride the backroads from North Liberty to Hwy 6. Then take the wide shoulder into Amana. Retrace home. Herky st is the 1st left just west of I-380.
New for 2018
32 or 36 miles Gravel
Same start as the road course on Herky St. We will head out on Penn St west, to James Ave NW, to echo st, to 255, to F28. Weather and road condition permitting we will ride on Grabin Rd. We will most likely be riding Johnson – Iowa Rd as the alternate, to 6th, then to 151. Retrace home, or take all road if you want. This will be a no-drop ride.
