1)  Go to the Ragbrai registration site, create a login or use your previous login, choose to register 'with a group' and not as an 'individual'.  Choose BIC from the list of possible groups, and fill out the application with our club.  After you complete the application, the screen will show how much the fee is for Ragbrai.  This is only the Register's fee and does not include BIC's fee.  The waiver is filled out online so you do not need to send a copy with your payment unless you are riding with a minor.

2)  You must be a BIC member to register with the group for Ragbrai.  If you are not a BIC member, please join at www.bicyclistsofiowacity.org.  You may register and pay online or you may print a registration form and mail it  in.

3)  Register for Ragbrai with BIC at this site.  Click on the "Register Here" link, then clink on the search link and type in your email address and last name (If you have a family membership please use the information for your primary member).

Payment is due February 1st.  If you are also signing up a minor, please print and sent the signed Ragbrai waiver with your payment.  Adults do not need to mail a waiver to BIC since it is completed online.

 

The Ragbrai website will not show you as being finalized in your registration until BIC sends payment for the club in February. Don't worry about this, but feel free to contact Karen Parrott if you are uncertain that you have completed the online registration process.

We will send additional information about Ragbrai with BIC in the spring, including instructions for how to box your bike and suggestions for packing for the week.  Bikes and luggage will be loaded onto the trucks at West High School on Friday, July 18, 2013 and you will check in and receive your wristband/bikeband package.  Buses leave from West High School to the start of Ragbrai on Saturday, July 19th around 8 AM.
