2010 RAGBRAI

Ragbrai XXXVIII is soon approaching - BIC will be taking a group of about 160 riders to Sioux City on July 24, 2010, returning home on July 31st. If you haven't signed up yet, it's probably too late, although you can contact me at keparrott@mchsi.com in case of last minute cancellations.
Ragbrai riders: The bike boxing and packing demo will be on Tuesday, July 13th, at Coralville Public Library meeting rooms A/B.
Bike loading: Please come to West High on Friday, 7/23, between 1 and 6:00 p.m. with your bike in a box to check in and load your bike. Bikes must be loaded on Friday! You may also bring your baggage and load it on the truck. If you've arranged for parking, you'll receive your parking tag and instructions about week-long parking. Parking must be arranged with Karen Parrott in advance.
Bus departure for Sioux City is Saturday morning 7/24 at West High at 8:00 a.m. sharp. Bring a lunch as the trip takes about 6 hours.
Return buses on 7/31 will leave Dubuque at approximately 1, 2 and 3:00 p.m., returning to West High. Bikes will follow in the truck along with the last bus, so arrive at West High about 4:30. Please pick up your bike promptly as we do not have anyone to stay with the bikes at West High after they are unloaded.
We do require that you be a member of BIC to participate in Ragbrai with us. You can join online, or join by mail. This is a separate process from signing up for RAGBRAI, although you may send your BIC application/payment to me along with the RAGBRAI waiver and payment.
